Coca Cola x League of Legends

Coke Gaming and Riot Games collaborated to bring the ultimate experience for League of Legends gamers with a new drink, Coca Cola Ultimate. I was tasked to concept and design three different kits to showcase the collaboration and product release for three tiers of audiences. Each kit has its own unpacking experience and the design inspiration for the kits was from the key visual of the crystal shards (the ultimate goal in LoL). The LoL map art was used in game, as well as the black and gold colors from the can design.

Tier 1: Ultimate Box

Builds excitement to drive awareness around the product and the campaign narrative around “small wins”.

Exterior Constructed from durable, “paper over board” stock; box stands upright, allowing cans to be hero

Interior Once fully opened, side panels reveal campaign messaging and a personalized card specific to each recipient

Open Panels LED lighting underneath cans activates upon opening; bottom drawer is opened to reveal premium pin pack

Inspiring fan engagement by rewarding gamers and recognizing “small wins” bringing to life the campaign narrative, and sustaining the excitement for continued awareness via earned media.
